Turning useful equipment into learning capacity
FBMU may accept certain computers, equipment, software, books, or resources when usefulness and total deployment cost are clearly established.
Prior review
The donor provides a description, quantity, condition, age, location, photographs, and, when required, an independent appraisal.
Acceptance criteria
Fit with current needs, condition, safety, ownership rights, data protection, shipping, customs, maintenance, and usability or marketability.
Donor responsibility
For significant noncash gifts, the donor is responsible for tax valuation. FBMU does not determine the deductible value of donated property.
No shipment without approval
No equipment should be shipped to FBMU or UBM before written acceptance and specific logistics instructions.
